The Heat Wave event begins on 11 August 2017. Runescape players can enjoy lots of bonus XP and items during this event. This is a returning event and not a new one. It’s looking like a scorcher out there, and there’s only one thing for it – hit the Beach!

Later this month, there’ll be two Heat Waves: weekends where we disregard the thermometer and let the XP flow like so much sunscreen.
During these weekends, no items will be required to reset your cap – just train all day on your favourite Lumbridge Crater Beach Party activities.

Heat Wave Weekend 2: 12:00 UTC, 25th August – 12:00 UTC, 28th August
Note: While you won’t need to reset your cap, you can still do so if you wish – handy if you’re chasing the ‘Bronzed’ or ‘Sunburned’ titles.
